William H. Bunch, CPA, PA is an authorized e-file provider. This means we have been accepted into the IRS electronic filing program and can file your return electronically. If you choose to do so, filing electronically offers many benefits. Accuracy, security, electronic signatures, proof of acceptance, fast refunds with direct deposits are but a few. The IRS also states that refunds are issued back in half the time--often in as few as 10 days. For clients who owe the IRS at tax-time, funds can be authorized via electronic funds withdrawal from your checking or savings account. You can also e-pay by credit card. Electronic returns are signed most easily by using a self-selected PIN number or you may sign a signature document (form 8453). The IRS notifies your CPA within 48 hours of transmission that your return information was received.
